We are Hiring! - Sales Engineer (m/f/d) DACH Region

Sales Home-Office Based Full Time


Aufgaben
  • Direct support and expansion of the customer base in the DACH Region (Germany, Austria and German Speaking parts of Switzerland).
  • Dealing with RFQs starting from initial technical enquiry, followed by selecting the appropriate product solution, through to the preparation of quotes and processing of the order to the US parent company.
  • Gaining a technical understanding of Kulite's extensive portfolio of products.
  • Dealing with a diverse set of customers and market sectors.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitive activities to identify potential new markets and opportunities.
  • Regular visits to customer sites to present new product offerings (willingness to travel 25%), assist customers in their use of the products and to learn of any potential new applications or requirements.
  • Regular dialog with technical experts at the US parent company to support technical and commercial discussions with customers.
  • Regular translation of customer technical and commercial discussions between the English and German languages
  • Preparation and execution of price negotiations.
  • Proactively monitoring regular customer orders, to remind customers when they might be overdue placing follow-on orders.
  • Regular participation at trade fairs.
  • Annual sales meeting at Kulite's global headquarters in the USA.

Profil
  • Successfully completed technical or commercial studies. This could include but not be limited to an engineering degree or science degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years' worth of professional experience in sales of technical products that require technical discussions with the end customer.
  • Ideally some background or knowledge of working in the area of sensors or transducers.
  • Independent working style and confident demeanor with customers.
  • Good negotiation skills and assertiveness.
  • Knowledge of common office IT software.
  • Place of residence in Germany and willingness to travel 25% within the sales area.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
